To access walking directions, select a starting landmark and a destination landmark from the drop-down lists on this page. Select the "GO" button and a new page will be provided containing step-by-step walking directions.

To access a virtual tour, select a point of interest prefixed with "Virtual Tour" from the drop-down list labeled "Point Of Interest". Select the "Find" button and a new page will be provided containing the virtual tour narrative.

To access a point of interest description, select a point of interest from the drop-down list labeled "Point Of Interest". Select the "Find" button and a new page will be provided containing the point of interest description.

After each narrative map you will find links to download a text file and an audio MP3 file for use on portable audio and Braille devices.

A T I A 2010 Orlando

The Caribe Royale All-Suites Hotel and Convention Center is the main venue for the A T I A 2010 Orlando conference. This center has 150,000 square feet of meeting space, and includes ballrooms, breakout rooms, boardrooms, and lounges. There are also 120 lakeside villas that can be used for breakout meetings for up to 14 people.

When guests first arrive at the hotel, they enter into the main reception building, the first floor of which has the main lobby, business center and lounge, and a lower floor which has restaurants, lounges, and a ballroom. The lower level of this main building exits into a long circular walkway that connects residence Towers One, Two, and Three. In the very center of this walkway is a large pool and waterfall. Using a clock analogy, these buildings are arranged as follows: the main reception building is at 6:00, Tower 1 is at 9:00, Tower Two is at 12:00, and Tower 3 at 3:00. Walking directions from each Tower to the main building, and also to the convention center can be selected from our list of routes.

Directly behind the Tower Two residence is the convention center complex. Attendees must pass completely through the Tower Two lobby to access a covered walkway which then leads to the convention center. The convention center itself forms a long rectangular shape, and from East to West has the following landmarks: the Antigua, Bonaire, and Curacao meeting rooms, followed by the Grand Sierra Ballroom which is also the site of the Exhibit Room. Continuing to the West are the 7 Caribbean Ballrooms, the 8 Boca Ballrooms, and the Boca Patio. There are two main entrances to this convention complex. The primary entrance leads into the Caribbean Ballroom foyer, and the second entrance leads into the Grand Sierra Ballroom foyer.
